Flavour Creations Partners With Homecare Medical to Enter Irish Market

BRISBANE, Australia (April 22, 2022) – Flavour Creations has announced its distributor-partnership with Irish medical supplies distributor Homecare Medical.

Flavour Creations is a global manufacturer of innovative dysphagia and targeted nutrition products, created to enhance the quality of life for people’s life. Since its early days more than 25 years ago, Flavour Creations has been making a difference delivering exceptional products to those who are living with dysphagia and failing to meet their nutritional requirements. Australian owned and operated, Flavour Creations is creating a pathway for independence, for people whose needs have changed when it comes to nutrition and consuming food.

The partnership will see Homecare Medical begin to distribute Flavour Creations’ range of products in June 2022, including its range of dysphagia powders and ready-to-drink beverages, popular texture-modified moulding brand Shape It, and daily nutrition brand AdVital. Previously, Homecare Medical had focused on medical supplies, assistive devices, and daily living products. This new partnership supports Homecare Medical’s vision to expansion into the medical nutrition market, making products more accessible.

“Dysphagia can affect anyone, but it’s especially prevalent in hospital aged care settings, with an incidence rate of around 50% in aged care homes,” said Tania Martin, head of global business development for Flavour Creations. “With more than 450 aged care homes across Ireland, our partnership with Homecare Medical will help more residents and staff get access to the products they need. Home care providers will be able to access our solutions through Homecare Medical’s 11 retail stores.

Flavour Creations products are expected to be readily available in Ireland by June 2022, with up-to-date information available on the Homecare Medical website. The new partnership will help make Flavour Creations’ safe, high-quality products available to more of the globe.
