The dish is unique, inspired by a person dining with dysphagia.

2. Creativity - Texture Modified Food Awards - Flavour Creations

Creativity

The dish is named creatively and resembles the original food.

3. Presentation - Texture Modified Food Awards - Flavour Creations

Presentation

The dish is presented and photographed in an appetising way.

TIPS TO A WINNING DISH

  • Make your dish look as good as it tastes.
    First impressions count! The judges won’t get to taste your dish, so you need to convey its culinary appeal through plating and presentation. Ask yourself: would you want to eat your dish?
  • Be Inspired – but don’t copy.
    Your dish should draw inspiration from existing cuisine, with an added, creative flair to resemble everyday food.
  • Follow all rules carefully.
    Be sure to include Shape It Powder as an ingredient and showcase creative ways to use this product.
  • Improve your chances with multiple entries.
    You can enter as many times as you like, but remember that each dish must be substantially unique and submitted separately.
  • Shoot your dish in landscape mode
    Upload an original landscape photo of your dish. Don’t compress, edit or add watermarks/branding to your photo. Focus on capturing as much detail of the dish as possible.
  • Give your recipe a creative name.
    Want to help your dish stand out? Give it an attention-grabbing name that still reflects what it is.

For full Terms and Conditions and entry details click here. Open to Australian residents aged 18 years and older. Employees of the Promoter and Co-Sponsor directly involved in the conduct of this promotion, including winner selection, will not be eligible to enter. Multiple entries are permitted. Commences 14/04/25 at 9:00am AEST and closes 28/09/25 at 11:59pm AEST. Judging will be via Teams Meeting on 03/10/25 (Round 1) and 10/10/25 (Round 2) at 2:00pm AEST. Prize winner notification on 13/10/25 AEST and winners announced on 28/10/25 at the IHHC Conference. Total prize value AU$6,930. Prizes not redeemable for cash. Judges will apply the following criteria: presentation, creativity, originality, and any other relevant criteria. Winner advised via email and phone. Winners name published on ihhc.org.au and Co-Sponsor social media and websites. Co-sponsored by Flavour Creations.
