Australian owned and operated company Flavour Creations, a world leader in products and services for Dysphagia management, has recently launched a new product as a solution for health care professionals when dealing with their patients that have compromised nutritional status and low weight-management issues.
Not Just Soup is a product developed primarily as a formulated meal replacement, but it’s also a lot more than that according to Mr. Jeremy Betros, the company’s head of Research and Development.
“Overall, we developed Not Just Soup as a product which would greatly assist speech pathologists and dietitians with their patients’ food intake, and we’ve achieved this by reformulating the idea of a complete meal.
“Not Just Soup is high in protein, vitamins, and minerals, and is a great source of energy too – all this in one small-serving cup! It’s the perfect solution for patients who cannot manage large portion meals, and there are four great flavours to choose from as well.” Mr. Betros said.
According to Mrs. Bernadette Eriksen, the company’s Managing Director, Flavour Creations are also looking to hit the retail market with their innovative new product.
“Not Just Soup’s features and benefits transcend our traditional market, which has been centred on our Dysphagia products. However, this product, as a great tasting, ready-to-eat meal, perfectly fits the broader-based consumer market as healthy lifestyle choice – be it as a snack, starter, or complete meal.” Mrs. Eriksen said.
Flavour Creations have launched the product under their Nourish brand name, which is a key component of their move into a nutritional solutions range of products.
“We’re already synonymous with innovation and excellence in the Dysphagia market, and Nourish is the focus of our becoming similarly recognised in the broader health and nutrition markets.” Mrs. Eriksen said.
